Arizona Museum Exhibit
For the past fifteen years the Colorado artist Veryl Goodnight has sought to capture the spirit of sled dogs in her paintings and sculpture. Now those painting are being readied for an exhibit at Western Spirit, Scottsdale, Arizona’s Museum of the West, opening in July. Continue reading
The Greatest Fish
The greatest fish ever caught in Alaska was a king salmon hauled ashore by Les Anderson of Soldatna in 1985. The cover photo below is a larger-than-life carving of Les with his fish which stands in front of the Visitor Center in Soldatna, on the Kenai Peninsula.
